Who we are

StackLabs is the trade name under which Riccardo Talarico (P.IVA 13289840962), an independent professional based in the Province of Milan, Italy, operates this website and provides its services. For the purposes of this policy, Riccardo Talarico is the data controller responsible for the personal data described below.

Data we collect

We collect personal data only when you submit the qualifying project form at /contact. Depending on the branch of the form you complete, this can include:

• •Your phone number and a website or portfolio link (optional, if you provide them)
• •Your country (optional, if you provide it)
• •Your answers to the form's qualifying questions about your project (for example the type of product, your current tech stack, or your timeline)

Why we collect it

We use this data solely to evaluate your request and follow up with a proposal or next steps, typically within one to two business days. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing or newsletter list.

Legal basis

We process this data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract with us.

Who we share it with

Your submission is sent, over an authenticated connection, from this website to our own mailer service and on to our inbox. The following processors handle data on our behalf:

• •Vercel Inc., which hosts this website
• •Our own mailer service, self-hosted on infrastructure we operate
• •Google LLC (Gmail), used by our mailer service to deliver the notification email to our inbox

International transfers

Vercel and Google are based in the United States and may process data outside the EU/EEA under the safeguards those providers offer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Our own mailer service runs on infrastructure we control.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, used by the site itself to remember whether you're viewing the English or Italian version on your next visit. It is strictly necessary for the site to function, carries no tracking or advertising purpose, and under Italian Garante and GDPR guidance does not require consent. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. If that changes, we will update this policy and add a consent mechanism before any such cookie is set.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we're in active discussion with you, and for up to 24 months after your last contact with us if no engagement follows, after which we delete or anonymize them. Data tied to an active contract is kept for as long as required by Italian tax and accounting law.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:
